The south facing Sunnycliffe House boasts some of the most beautiful sea views, which stretch across Combesgate and Barricane Beach all the way to Woolacombe Bay and Baggy Point. The house, which sleeps up to six in three bedrooms has been tastefully decorated throughout and is split over two levels with the living area and kitchen downstairs, and three good sized bedrooms upstairs. The highlight for many guests staying at the house is the large terrace with far reaching sea views and the private balcony.
The open plan living area at Sunnycliffe House is the perfect place to sit back and relax. With doors opening out on to both the terrace and the balcony it is the best place to see the breath-taking sea views. The lounge area has two large, cream leather sofas, a tub chair and two bean bags for children. There is also a flat screen TV with a DVD player.
To the side of the main living room is an alcove dining area with pine table and chairs for six people with a large mirror so you can see the sea views even if you're on the end!
A small lobby area on arrival is a great place to store coats and shoes, as well as brushing off any sand from the beach.
The compact, well-equipped kitchen at Sunnycliffe House has everything you will need for a self-catering holiday in North Devon, including ample storage cupboards and work surface space. Appliances featured in the kitchen include an electric built-in oven, a four-ring hob, a dishwasher, a microwave and a four-slice toaster. A small dining table can also be found in the kitchen.
Next door to the kitchen is the handy utility room where you will find a washing machine and various other useful items such as the iron and ironing board. A WC and wash-basin can also be found in the utility room.
The large Master Bedroom has a big front facing window from which the sea views are stunning. Wake up in the morning and open the curtains to admire views of Combesgate Beach and Woolacombe Bay. Within the bedroom there is an oak framed king-size bed with a grey curved headboard, a free-standing wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
The Master Bedroom also benefits from its own en-suite bathroom, which is fitted with a shower, a wash-basin and a WC.
The double bedroom is a good-sized double and has wonderful far reaching sea views, which stretch all the way to Woolacombe Bay and Baggy Point. The bedroom, which is light and airy also features a free-standing wardrobe and two bedside tables with lamps.
The final bedroom is a lovely twin, which has two wood-framed, full size single beds, as well as a large chest of drawers. The main highlight for this bedroom is its small (stand only) balcony, which is located to the side of Sunnycliffe House, from here you can see the sea and local countryside.
The final room located on the first floor is the family bathroom, which has been finished to a good standard and has a bath with a shower over, a wash-basin and a WC.
French doors open out from the living area to the south facing terrace complete with stunning sea views. Here there is a large picnic table seating up to eight and two sun loungers. The terrace is fully enclosed, although we do recommend that children are supervised at all times.
A second set of French doors open out on the west facing decked balcony, which has a corner sofa and two chairs with a small table. This balcony is a real suntrap and is nicely sheltered by the house. It is surrounded by a glass balustrade, which means the sea views are uninterrupted.
